Tutoring Experience

st louis ultimate math tutor igor konfisakhar calculating furiouslyI have extensive private math tutoring experience at all levels.  I have tutored traditional high school math subjects, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, statistics, and standardized tests.  I have also tutored a variety of college math courses, including statistics, multivariable calculus, differential equations, and matrix/linear algebra.

Additionally, I have worked with many untraditional students such as:

  • adults working to regain their proficiency in high school level math
  • elementary school students learning calculus
  • college students struggling in prealgebra
  • college math majors taking Lebesgue Integration and Measure
  • high school students wanting to excel in mathematics competitions
  • college engineering students taking Advanced Engineering Mathematics
  • and more!

I have made it a personal goal of mine to be qualified to teach as many different math subjects and types of students as possible.

Other Teaching Experience

Currently working as a tutor at the Math and Science Learning Center at Saint Louis Community College-Florissant Valley.  I have also taught the Calculus III course there.

Currently working with Dr. John Konvalina of the University of Nebraska-Omaha to create a computer program that will provide comprehensive training for the ACT Math section.  This program takes a new and revolutionary approach to teaching math, which we hope will one day help to change the face of secondary mathematical education in the United States.

Helped to train the 2010 Missouri ARML Team.
